Q- How long do private sessions last?
A- Private sessions are typically 1 to 1.5 hours long
Q- How and when do I pay?
A- Board & Train- we accept Credit Card, Apple Pay, PayPal & Venmo. To be paid in full at time of booking.
Private Lessons- We accept Apple Pay, Venmo or Zelle. To be paid at the end of your first session.
Q- What training equipment is needed for training?
A- You will need a normal 4-6 foot leash, a flat buckle or other adjustable collar and any training equipment you are currently using with your dog ( harness, slip lead, correction collar ).
Q- What treats should be used?
A- Be sure to have soft dog treats, turkey dogs, chicken or cheese cut into tiny pea sized pieces. Have a good sized bowl full and whatever is not used can be put in the freezer for future use.
Q- What toys are used for reward?
A- It depends on what your dog enjoys. Does your dog enjoy playing tug? Use any of the following toys - soft fleece tug, rope, tug made with Jute ( www.leerburg.com carry some great tugs ). Does your dog enjoy fetching a ball or a disc? Have a couple balls or discs in your training bag. Keep your reward toy(s) hidden when you are not training. It will make them more exciting when they do come out.
Q- Do you work with dogs that have been declared dangerous by animal control?
A- Yes! I can help you through training and can provide a written evaluation once training has been completed. This evaluation can be presented to animal control during your appeal process.
